About

Meadowside Cottage is a Grade 2 listed former farmhouse. As the name suggests, as soon as you drive through the 5 bar gate you are met with the beautifully picturesque vista over fields and out to Hustyns Woods. Enjoy a bbq or a glass of something chilled early evening to watch the sunset over the woods. The cottage has a gravelled driveway which can fit up to 4 cars. Downstairs guests can relax in the living room in front of the traditional log burner or eat in the separate dining room. Upstairs there is a stunning master bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable superking bed, made locally in Cornwall. The master has an ensuite bathroom. Additionally there is a double room , a further twin room and family bathroom.

Meadowside Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful hamlet just 5 minutes drive away from the bustling town of Wadebridge boasting a multitude of cafes, restaurants, parks, boutique shops and even a town hall (for weekly markets) and a cinema. Wadebridge is also home to the famous camel trail which is a must for visitors to the area. Biking or walking along the camel trail or kayaking along the scenic River Camel is very popular and bikes can be easily hired close to the entrance to the trail. For foodies Padstow is just a 15 minute drive away and the spectacular ‘7 bays’ beaches can be found approximately 20 minutes drive. The popular beachside resorts of Polzeath and Rock are approximately 15 minutes drive. Located in an area of outstanding natural views with far reaching vistas over rolling fields and out to Wadebridge and beyond. Winter also does not disappoint with spectacular wintry walks from the doorstep with stunning sunrises and sunsets.
